On Ferrix, the Imperial presence is suffocating. , now working a desk job on Coruscant, receives a tip about Maarva’s death from his contact on Ferrix, Sergeant Mosk. Driven by his obsession with Cassian, Syril steals credits from his mother and heads to Ferrix, desperate for a second chance at "justice."

Following their harrowing escape from the Narkina 5 prison in the previous episode, and Ruescott Melshi find themselves stranded on the beach planet of Niamos.

They are cornered by two local Narkina scavengers, the , who initially intend to turn them in for a bounty.

However, the scavengers’ shared hatred for the Empire’s polluting presence on their world leads them to help the fugitives instead, providing them with a ship.

He deploys a massive "shrapnel cloud" that shreds the Cruiser’s tractor beam dish and uses hull-mounted (resembling lightsabers) to slice through TIE fighters.
