The story follows ( Tom Cruise ), one of the last few drone repairmen stationed on Earth. Alongside his partner Victoria (Andrea Riseborough), Jack lives in a sleek "Sky Tower" and maintains drones that protect giant hydro-rigs harvesting seawater for humanity’s new colony on Saturn’s moon, Titan.

Jack’s mission is nearly complete, but he is plagued by dreams of a pre-war life in New York with a mysterious woman. His reality is shattered when he discovers a crashed 20th-century spacecraft and rescues the survivor, (Olga Kurylenko), the woman from his visions.
