Alone: Season 3 (Patagonia) was a landmark season for the History Channel series, moving away from Vancouver Island for the first time to the remote Andes mountain range.

Unlike previous seasons, contestants had no access to ocean resources or flotsam. Food was limited to trout, forage, and rare small birds/boar, turning the season into an extreme "starvation challenge". The Participants Alone - Season 3
